We have a ton of toys lying around the bathroom. Some have been a life-saver when it comes to keeping our boys occupied as I wash their dirty fingers and toes; others have just added to the clutter. So anytime I discover a toy that I know we’ll get a lot of use out of, it’s like hitting a goldmine! Think: one less toy on the floor to trip over, hehe!
Recently, I had the chance to review a few new products from TOMY Toys. Toys that will add a little more fun into the normal bath time routine. And parents like me will appreciate these bath toys in particular, because they even double as pool toys perfect for both babies or toddlers!
See Under the Sea Submarine
The See Under the Sea Submarine toy is a great pretend play toy to make bath time even more fun. Dive the submarine under water to see it light up and play seaside tunes. The catchy melody will have your kids building positive bath time associations in no time. They can even listen to some life-like submarine sounds after pressing down on the periscope. Attached to the submarine is a purple walrus — Captain Walrus who detaches for a quick splash in the water.

Water Whistler
The Water Whistler, a floating dolphin made for children 10 months+, bobs up and down in the water.
This toy has easily become a favorite of ours…and I’m not just talking about my 1 year-old (hint: I love it!). It is the perfect-size and texture for tons of fun. Small enough for little ones to grasp, it leaves plenty of room for playing in the tub. It is soft and easy to squeeze — so I don’t have to worry about anyone getting hurt if it’s tossed around.
My kids love the whistle sound the toy emits as water gushes out. Very realistic!

Fountain Rocket
The Fountain Rocket is another fun toy ready for blast-off! Fill the rocket ship with water and you’ll see the starfish float. Once you lift the rocket out of the water, you’ll get a magical fountain effect the kids will love! You can even turn the dial to choose a new fountain feature.
I love how gently the water flows out from the rocket too — it gives the little one some time to close his eyes and enjoy all the fun sensory stimulation that comes with water play.
My kids love letting their imaginations run wild as they prepare the rocket for lift-off. So many ways to get creative with pretend play here.
